the fisherman & the banker

An American banker was walking on a beautiful beach in a small Mexican villaje: He saw a fisherman in his boat with a few fish on it.
–Great fish! –he said. –How long did it take you to catch them?
–Not very long. –answered the fisherman.
–Why didn’t you stay at sea longer to catch some more? –Asked the banker.
–There are just enough fish here to feed my family –answered the fisherman.
Then the American asked, –But what do you do the rest of the time?
–I sleep late, I fish a little, I play with my kids, I have siestas. In the evening; I go to see my friends in the village: We drink wine and play the guitar: I’m busier than you think.
The American interrupted him. –I have an MBA from Harvard University and I can help you. You?re not fishing as much as you can. If you start fishing for longer periods of time, you?ll get enough money to buy a bigger boat: then with the money you?ll get from catching and selling more fish; you could buy a second boat and then a third one and so on. Then instead of selling your fish to shops, you could sell them directly to a fish factory, or even open your own factory: then you’ll be able to leave your little village for Mexico City and finally move to New York, where you could direct the company.
–How long will that take? –asked the Mexican.
–About 15 to 20 years. –answered the American.
–And then?
–Then it gets more interesting –said the American; smiling and talking more quickly. –when the moment comes, you can put your company on the stock market and you will make millions.
–Millions? But then what?
–Then you can retire, live in a small village by the sea, go to the beach, sleep late, play with your kids, ...

Murder on the Orient Express
A young  American was travelling to Venice on the Orient Express. It was a long journey, and he was bored. Sitting opposite him there was an Italian man. He was about 50 years old. He had an English newspaper on the seat next to him.
“Excuse me,” the American said. ‘Can I borrow your newspaper?’
‘No,’ said the Italian. ‘I´m sorry’. You can’t.
‘Why not?’ asked the American.
‘Well,’ said the Italian, ‘it’s quite simple...’
‘If I lend you my newspaper, we’ll start talking.’
‘If we start talking, we´ll become friends.’
‘If we become friends, I´ll invite you to my house in Venice.’
‘If I invite you to my house in Venice, you’ll meet my beautiful daughter.’
‘If you meet Nicoletta, you’ll fall in love with her.’
‘If you fall in love with her, you’ll run away together.’
‘If you run away together, I’ll find you’.
‘If I find you, I’ll kill you’.
‘So that’s why, I won’t lend you my newspaper.’

I´ll supply the love - Toto

Chorus:
You supply the night, baby, I'll supply the love
You supply the night, baby, I'll supply the love
I see a horseman in the sky, it makes me turn and wonder why
I hear the same old fourteen reasons, must be the changin' of the seasons

Chorus

I met the girl across the sea, she saved my life and came with me
A tender night of dark persuasion, could be my first and last occasion

Chorus

(Instrumental break)

Chorus repeats 2x

Baby, I'll supply the love, baby, I'll supply the, I'll supply the love

summertime - ella Fitzgerald

Summertime and the livin' is easy
Fish are jumpin' and the cotton is high
Oh, your daddy's rich and your ma is good-lookin'
So hush, little baby; don't you cry

One of these mornings you're gonna rise up singing
And you'll spread your wings and you'll take to the sky
But till that morning, there ain't nothin' can harm you
With daddy and mammy standin' by

One of these mornings you're gonna rise up singing
And you'll spread your wings and you'll take to the sky
But till that morning, there ain't nothin' can harm you

The big bang Theory : "I don´t think I can go through that again"

FIX YOU - Coldplay

When you try your best, but you don't succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse

When the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
If you never try, then you'll never know
Just what you're worth

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

Tears stream down your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face
And I...

Tears stream down your face
I promise you that I'll learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face
And I...

Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you

pearl jam - whislist

I wish I was a neutron bomb, for once I could go off
I wish I was a sacrifice but somehow still lived on
I wish I was a sentimental ornament you hung on
The Christmas tree, I wish I was the star that went on top
I wish I was the evidence, I wish I was the clouds
or 50 million hands upraised and open toward the sky

I wish I was a sailor with someone who waited for me
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me
I wish I was a messenger and all the news was good
I wish I was the full moon shining off a Camaro's hood

I wish I was an alien at home behind the sun
I wish I was the souvenir you kept your house key on
I wish I was the pedal brake that you depended on
I wish I was the verb 'to trust' and never let you down

I wish I was a radio song, the one that you turned up
I wish...
I wish...

Mary Black - No frontiers

If life is a river and your heart is a boat
And just like a water baby, baby born to float
And if life is a wild wind that blows way on high
Then your heart is amelia dying to fly
Heaven knows no frontiers
And I've seen heaven in your eyes

And if life is a bar room in which we must wait
'round the man with his fingers on the ivory gates
Where we sing until dawn of our fears and our fates
And we stack all the deadmen in self addressed crates
In your eyes faint as the singing of a lark
That somehow this black night
Feels warmer for the spark
Warmer for the spark
To hold us 'til the day
When fear will lose it's grip
And heaven has it's way
Heaven knows no frontiers
And I've seen heaven in your eyes

If your life is a rough bed of brambles and nails
And your spirit's a slave to man's whips and man's jails
Where you thirst and you hunger for justice and right
Then your heart is a pure flame of man's constant night
In your eyes faint as the singing of a lark
That somehow this black night
Feels warmer for the spark
Warmer for the spark
To hold us 'til the day when fear will lose it's grip
And heaven has it's way
And heaven has it's way
When all will harmonise
And know what's in our hearts
The dream will realise

Heaven knows no frontiers
And I've seen heaven in your eyes
Heaven knows no frontiers
And I've seen heaven in your eyes
