¿Cómo comunicarse en inglés durante un viaje? Consejos muy útiles para saber qué decir

Viajar es cada vez más frecuente en el mundo actual, y hay que saber cómo darse a entender y qué responder en inglés.


Acerca del vuelo
· ¿Qué tal el vuelo?: How was your flight?
· Mi vuelo fue retrasado, pero finalmente llegamos a tiempo: My flight was delayed but finally we arrived in time.
· ¿Está/s un cansado/a?: Are you tired?
· Sí, necesito un café: Yes, I need a coffee.
· No, estoy bien: No, I’m okay.
Acerca del hotel
· ¿Qué tal el hotel?: How’s your hotel?
· Está bien situado y es cómodo. ¡Así que es perfecto!: It’s well-located and is comfortable. So it’s perfect!
· Me temo que tendré que cambiarme a otra habitación porque es muy ruidosa: I’m afraid I’ll have to change to another room because it’s very noisy.
· Lamento, escuchar esto. Si necesita/s que te/le ayude/mos, dímelo/dígamelo: I’m so sorry to hear this. If you need my/our help, please let me know.
· No, no hay problema. Ya he pedido el cambio: No, no problem. I have already asked for the change.
· Sí, por favor, si pudieses buscarme un hotel más hacia las afueras de la ciudad, sería perfecto: Yes, please, if you could find a hotel in the outskirts of the city for me, it would be perfect.
· Lo intentaremos y te/le mantendremos informado. Siento las molestias: We’ll try and keep you informed. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Acerca del clima/tiempo
· ¿Qué tal estaba el tiempo en (ciudad) cuando se marchó/te marchaste?: How was the weather in (city) when you left?
· Demasiado caluroso/frío para esta época del año: Too hot/cold for this time of the year.
· Como puedes ver está lloviendo.: As you can see, it’s raining.
· Sí, y no tengo paraguas: Yes, and I don’t have an umbrella.
· No hay problema, te podemos dejar uno: No problem, you can borrow one from us.
· Muy mal tiempo hoy: Terrible weather today.
· Hace un bonito día: It’s a nice day
Acerca de la ciudad
· ¿Conoce/s ya (la ciudad)?: Have you been to (city) before?
· No, es la primera vez que estoy aquí: No, it’s the first time I’m here.
· ¿Has hecho (un poco) de turismo?: Have you been sightseeing?
· Le/Te recomiendo visitar (lugar): I recommend that you visit (place).
· Es muy fácil llegar allí. Puede ir andando: It’s very easy to get there. You can go on foot.
Acerca de la comida
· ¿Qué tipo de comida te/le gusta? ¿Pescado? ¿Carne?: What kind of food do you like? Fish? Meat?
· Me gusta todo, especialmente la carne: I like everything, especially meat.
